About the place
Harlequin describes itself as the first private restaurant in the resort of Mamaia, a name on the market for more than 25 years. The lakeside venue has a 120-seat dining room, the Pergola terrace and an 80-seat events room. The menu puts international dishes, fish and seafood side by side in a Mediterranean and Balkan style, with a wide wine list.
The restaurant hosts concerts and shows all year, and in summer the terrace turns into a stage when needed. Since 2021 the same owner also runs Harlequin by the Sea, a 500-seat venue on the seafront.
