About the place
The lift opened on 16 July 2004. The line is 2,000 m long and takes 7–8 minutes at up to 5 m/s; the gondolas seat 8, leave 30 seconds apart and rise to 50 m. It runs in both directions between Perla station and Albatros–Cazino station.
It is operated by the company Telegondola Mamaia, owned by Mamaia S.A. and the municipality of Constanța. It runs in summer only: in 2026 it also ran on 1 June, Children's Day, when children under 16 rode free all day, and it closed on 13 September with the end of the season.
