About the place
The MedSPA centre opened in April 2013 after an EU-funded project and covers 2,700 m² on three levels. It has 40 individual treatment rooms, rehabilitation and fitness rooms, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, cyclone showers, an ice fountain and a salt-water pool with a built-in jacuzzi.
The Lake Techirghiol mud is used in three ways: warm mud baths at about 38 °C, wraps and poultices at about 50 °C, and mud massage. Programmes start with a medical consultation and are aimed mainly at rheumatic, post-traumatic and neurological conditions. The hotel also sells packages for the 2026–2027 off-season, Christmas and New Year.
Good to know
- Guests get 60 minutes a day in the Aqua Mirage area (pool, saunas, jacuzzi), booked at the spa reception.
- Children aged 4 to 16 may use the pool only from 12 to 13 and, if there is room, from 17 to 18; children under 4 are not admitted.
