About the place
The hotel has about 200 rooms and suites, an outdoor pool, a sky bar and its own promenade on the cliff top. It belongs to Steaua de Mare Eforie Resort, a family business started in the late 1990s that also runs the Meduza and Delfinul hotels here, with more than 750 rooms in all.
The Aqvatonic Balneo Spa opened in December 2015. It has a labyrinth pool with 16 underwater massage zones at 28–34 °C, two swimming lanes, saunas, a salt room and steam baths. The spa treatments use the salt water and sapropelic mud of Lake Techirghiol, alongside laser, ultrasound and massage therapies.
Good to know
- Treatment packages are booked directly with the Aqvatonic, separately from the Meduza and Delfinul hotels of the same complex.
