It holds 4.4 on Google from more than 11,000 reviews and, by its own account, is one of the oldest fish restaurants on the southern coast.
About the place
The restaurant opened at the start of 1996 and sits on the beach, a few steps from the water, with wide terraces facing the sea. The fish is caught early in the morning in the sea or in Lake Tatlageac behind the restaurant and cooked in the house kitchen.
Around it, on the lakeshore, the Popasul Pescarilor holiday village has been built, with rooms, a pool, a children's playground and a terrace. It holds 4.4 on Google from 11,493 reviews; opinions are mixed, and Tripadvisor also carries complaints about the service.
Good to know
- Open mainly in summer, usually June to September; outside the season call ahead.
- Book a table in advance, as the restaurant itself asks on its website.
- It is at the northern end of Olimp, so it is easier to come by car.
